Participation certificates for everyone on your list

A participation certificate says someone took part. Upload a CSV or Excel list of participants, edit the Attendance template so it reads as participation, and download one file per person.

Competitions, science fairs, charity runs, and school plays all end with a pile of thank-you certificates. The words matter here: participation is not a pass or a rank. The Attendance starter is a good base because its body text is short and easy to change to the event name and date.

Steps

  1. 1.List the participants. One row per person, with a name column and an event column. Add a date column if different groups took part on different days.
  2. 2.Change the sentence. In the editor, write the body so it says what happened, for example that the person took part in the event. Insert {{course}} where the event name should print.
  3. 3.Preview the longest name. Click through the rows. Long names shrink to stay inside the frame, so check one before you download.
  4. 4.Download the ZIP. Choose PDF for print, or PNG and JPG for sharing. Free makes 10 certificates with a Sheetcerts pattern. Paid plans make clean files.

Questions

How is this different from an attendance certificate?

Attendance says a person was present. Participation says they took part in something, such as a contest or a performance. The template is the same; the wording you choose is what differs.

Can I add a ranking or prize line?

Yes. Add a column with the result and insert it in the body with its column name. Sheetcerts prints the text you provide and does not judge it.

How many can I make for free?

Ten per batch, with a Sheetcerts pattern across the page. A Batch pass is $5 once for up to 200 clean certificates.
