Course completion certificates from a class list
Map the learner name and the course title, then generate one completion certificate per row. The Course starter is a teal, left-aligned layout with the seal hidden. You can turn the seal back on and edit every text field.
Online classes and short courses often share one title and one end date. Put the course title in a column if cohorts differ, or type it once in the template if it never changes. The tool does not connect to a learning platform.
Suggested template: Course. You can edit every line of it, then download PDF, PNG, or JPG.
Steps
- 1.Export the class list. Use the learner's name as they should see it printed. Add the course title, completion date, and instructor organization.
- 2.Open the Course template. The default body says the person has completed the course on the date. Edit that sentence if you issue a participation note instead.
- 3.Set paper size. A4 is the default. Switch to US Letter before you download if that is what you print.
- 4.Download the ZIP. Free includes a small mark. Batch pass, Pro, and Team leave it off.
Free covers 10 certificates per batch, with a small sheetcerts mark. Batch pass is $5 once for up to 200, without the mark. Pro is $19 a month or $190 a year, up to 500 a month, with saved templates. Team is $39 a month or $390 a year, up to 3,000 a month, with a public check page.
sheetcerts creates certificates from the text and spreadsheet you provide. It is not a school, an exam board, or an accrediting body.

Questions
Can I show a grade?
Add a Grade column and insert {{grade}} in the body. Any header can be inserted in the text, not only the mapped fields.
Are the certificates accredited?
No. sheetcerts prints your text. It does not accredit a course or issue a transcript.
Which font handles accented learner names?
Noto Sans and Noto Serif cover accented letters in names such as Zoë Müller, José Álvarez, and Søren Østergaard. Preview one certificate if a name uses other writing systems.
