Bootcamp certificates from a cohort sheet
A bootcamp certificate can be one edited template plus a cohort spreadsheet. Map the learner and the bootcamp name, preview a row, and download the ZIP. The Course layout is the starting point.
Bootcamps often want a modern, quieter layout than a heavy seal. The Course starter is left aligned and teal, with the seal off. Add the seal back if the cohort expects one. State the dates honestly in the sheet or in the body.
Suggested template: Course. You can edit every line of it, then download PDF, PNG, or JPG.
Steps
- 1.Export the cohort. Learner name, bootcamp name, end date, and the school or studio. Add hours if you print them.
- 2.Edit the completion sentence. Say completed, attended, or finished the projects you actually ran. The default text is a starting sentence, not a promise.
- 3.Save the template if you run cohorts often. Saving a template is included with Pro.
- 4.Download. Hand the ZIP to the person who sends mail. This site does not send it.
Free covers 10 certificates per batch, with a small sheetcerts mark. Batch pass is $5 once for up to 200, without the mark. Pro is $19 a month or $190 a year, up to 500 a month, with saved templates. Team is $39 a month or $390 a year, up to 3,000 a month, with a public check page.
sheetcerts creates certificates from the text and spreadsheet you provide. It is not a school, an exam board, or an accrediting body.

Questions
Can each learner have a project title?
Add a Project column and insert {{project}} in the body.
Does finishing the file mean the learner passed?
Only if you write that, and only as your statement. sheetcerts does not grade the cohort.
Which format is smallest?
JPG is usually smaller than PNG. Lower the JPG quality slider if you need a lighter ZIP. PDF size depends on the fonts embedded for the text you used.
