Conference certificates from a badge list
Use the registration export as the sheet, map the attendee and the conference name, and download one certificate per row. Start from the Attendance template and edit the event name, dates, and host.
Conferences often have a long name and a city. Put the full name in the course column so you do not have to squeeze it into a fixed title. The body can say the person attended, which is all the sheet usually knows.
Suggested template: Attendance. You can edit every line of it, then download PDF, PNG, or JPG.
Steps
- 1.Export badge data. You need a name column. Add the conference name, the date range, and the organizer if they are not the same for every row.
- 2.Fix split names first. If the export has First and Last, merge them in the spreadsheet. The recipient line uses one field.
- 3.Edit colors to sit near the event brand. You can change accent, background, and text. Upload the event logo if you have a PNG or JPG.
- 4.Generate within the plan limit. A large conference may need Team's 3,000 row batch. The monthly cap matches that number.
Free covers 10 certificates per batch, with a small sheetcerts mark. Batch pass is $5 once for up to 200, without the mark. Pro is $19 a month or $190 a year, up to 500 a month, with saved templates. Team is $39 a month or $390 a year, up to 3,000 a month, with a public check page.
sheetcerts creates certificates from the text and spreadsheet you provide. It is not a school, an exam board, or an accrediting body.

Questions
Can speakers and attendees use different sentences?
Add a Role column and write the body to include {{role}}, or run two exports with two edited templates.
Will a QR code be on the certificate?
Only on Team, and only in the downloaded file. The code points at a check page whose address contains the printed fields. Free preview does not add it.
Can I generate more than 5,000 rows?
The file reader stops after 5,000 data rows. Split the sheet. Generation limits are lower than that on every plan.
