Volunteer certificates that include hours
A volunteer certificate can thank someone and show the hours from your sheet. Map the name, the event, and the hours column, edit the Volunteer template, and download the batch.
Community groups often have a messy signup sheet: a preferred name, a shift, and a rough hour count. Clean the hour column into text you want printed, such as 6 hours, before you upload. The certificate will show that cell as written.
Suggested template: Volunteer. You can edit every line of it, then download PDF, PNG, or JPG.
Steps
- 1.Prepare the signup sheet. One row per volunteer. Include name, event or role, hours, date, and the organization name.
- 2.Choose the Volunteer starter. It uses a green soft frame and a service title. Edit the body if you want a role name instead of hours.
- 3.Preview three different rows. Tap a row in the list. Long names shrink to fit the recipient line when the fonts have loaded.
- 4.Download PDF or images. Use PDF if you will print on A4 or Letter. Use PNG if the certificate will be posted in a group chat.

Questions
What if hours are blank for some people?
A blank {{hours}} prints nothing, so the sentence can look unfinished. Fill the cell or rewrite the body so it does not depend on hours.
Can I hide the seal?
Yes. The editor has a seal switch. Hiding it removes the seal from the preview and from the downloaded file.
Does this verify volunteer hours for a third party?
No. Team plan can add a check link that repeats the printed name, event, date, and organization. It does not confirm hours with an outside registry.
