Mentoring certificates for a cohort of pairs
Put one person per row, name the mentoring cycle in a column, and edit the Volunteer template so the sentence matches mentoring rather than event hours. Then download the ZIP.
Programmes often thank mentors at the end of a cycle. Decide whether the certificate is for the mentor, the mentee, or both, and use separate rows. You can mention the cycle dates in the date column.
Suggested template: Volunteer. You can edit every line of it, then download PDF, PNG, or JPG.
Steps
- 1.Build the people sheet. Name, role or cycle, date, hours if you have them, and the programme name.
- 2.Rewrite the Volunteer body. The default thanks the person for hours at an event. Change it so it talks about mentoring.
- 3.Hide hours if you do not track them. Remove {{hours}} from the sentence. An empty column would leave a gap.
- 4.Download. PDF if you will hand them over on paper. PNG if you will share a picture.
Free covers 10 certificates per batch, with a small sheetcerts mark. Batch pass is $5 once for up to 200, without the mark. Pro is $19 a month or $190 a year, up to 500 a month, with saved templates. Team is $39 a month or $390 a year, up to 3,000 a month, with a public check page.
sheetcerts creates certificates from the text and spreadsheet you provide. It is not a school, an exam board, or an accrediting body.

Questions
Can mentor and mentee names both show?
Yes. Use the recipient for one person and a column such as Partner with {{partner}} in the body.
Can I reuse the wording next cycle?
Pro and Team can save the edited template. Free edits last for the session.
Does this confirm the mentoring hours to an employer?
No. It prints your sheet. There is no third-party check of the relationship.
