How a bulk certificate maker works
A bulk certificate maker fills the same design once for every row in a spreadsheet. With Sheetcerts you upload a CSV or Excel file, edit one template, and download a ZIP with a separate PDF, PNG, or JPG for each person. Free makes 10 per batch. A Batch pass makes up to 200, Pro up to 500 a month, and Team up to 3,000 a month.
What bulk means here
One template, many rows. Every column in your sheet can be inserted in the text, so each certificate carries its own name, course, date, and organization. You change the design once and every file follows.
How big a batch can be
The limits are per batch and, on Pro and Team, per month. Free makes 10 per batch. A Batch pass covers up to 200 for one event. Pro covers 500 a month and Team covers 3,000 a month. The tool tells you before you download how many rows will be left out.
Free and paid files
Free files carry a Sheetcerts pattern across the page, including over the name area, and PDFs hold a flat picture. Paid files have no pattern, and PDFs keep selectable text.
What to check before a large batch
Open the preview on the row with the longest name, check spelling in the header row, and download a small batch first. Then run the full list.
Steps
- 1.Prepare one row per person. Put headers in row 1. Remove blank rows at the bottom of the sheet.
- 2.Upload and match columns. Drop in the CSV or Excel file and confirm which column holds the names.
- 3.Edit one template. Change the words, colors, fonts, logo, and signature once. Preview several rows.
- 4.Download the ZIP. Pick PDF, PNG, or JPG. A progress bar shows each chunk of the batch as it is built.
Questions
Can I make hundreds at once?
Yes, on a paid plan. A Batch pass makes up to 200 in one go, and Pro and Team raise that for repeat use.
Does it send the certificates by email?
No. You download a ZIP and share the files yourself.
Which file types can I upload?
CSV, XLS, and XLSX.
